I use a variety of tools and methods to harvest, create and manipulate sounds. Since 2019, I have primarily improvised using prepared turntable and no-input mixing board. However, most recently I have been working with feedback created through the direct interaction between microphones and speakers. Recorded material often finds its way into my work, whether vinyl records or my own field recordings. Sound sometimes functions as a gateway medium for performances involving movement, light, video, and text.
I frequently collaborate with others, and have performed improvised music in the following formations:
Three Hand Symbol, trio with Webb Crawford and Max Hamel (2024 - present)
Milk of Mustard Seed, duo with Katarina Mazur (2023 - present)
Playbackers, trio with Arkm Foam and Donny Shaw (2022 - present), previously with Arkm Foam and Neil Cloaca Young (2021-2022).
duo with Nat Baldwin (2021 - present)
Beige, duo with Liam Kramer-White (2017 - 2020)

Lines of time and air (2019)
Lines of time and air was a study in composing and listening in a layered sound world. The five electroacoustic compositions that comprised this evening-length concert are made of field recordings, recorded sine tones, speaker hum and hiss, the ambient sound of the room, time, and thoughts.
Lines of time and air was created between October 2018 and April 2019 and presented as a thesis performance at Hampshire College in April. The concert took place at the Yurt Media Center, Hampshire's radio station, and was live broadcast on the air.
