I enjoy menu-planning and cooking for events/residencies and in homes. My cooking style tends towards thoughtful combinations and contrasts, playful colors and textures, and seasonal ingredients, inspired by spontaneous cravings and improvisation with available materials as well as a wide swathe of traditional foodways including my own Ashkenazi Jewish heritage. 
I am also a baker at Rise Above in Greenfield, MA and pizza baker at the Leverett Village Coop.


In the winter months, I run a soup delivery service called Pookah’s Soup Deliveries.
